Use Psychology has two main aims and two core values underpinning all work according to the primary ethical principles of the British Psychological Society BPS) Code of Ethics and Conduct (2018) | BPS and the standards of conduct, performance and ethics of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Standards of conduct, performance and ethics | (hcpc-uk.org)

Aims

UsePsychology aims to improve the lives of young people and adults by applying psychology directly to individuals and through training to groups and organisations.

UsePsychology aims to contribute to a societal shift towards compassionate communities in which life events, including loss and death, are better understood.  

Values

Respect - An individual’s or organisation’s needs are acknowledged as being unique to them. Use Psychology Services are delivered confidentially (see Privacy Notice), with competence, responsibility and integrity. Communication is open, honest and straightforward.

Compassion - An individual’s or organisation’s views are validated as being unique to them. Use Psychology Services are delivered with empathy and authenticity.
